The Rosie Project

The Rosie Project - Graeme Simsion

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion is a funny and heartwarming novel about love, relationships and unexpected connections.

Don Tillman is a brilliant 39-year-old genetics professor who has never had a second date. He decides to use science to solve his love life and creates the “Wife Project” — a detailed questionnaire designed to help him find the perfect partner.

Then he meets Rosie Jarman, a smart, independent and unpredictable woman who seems completely unsuitable according to Don’s carefully designed criteria. Rosie is not looking for a husband, though. She wants Don’s help finding her biological father.

As they work together on the “Father Project”, Don’s carefully organised life begins to change. What starts as a logical scientific investigation gradually becomes something much more personal. Don discovers that love cannot always be measured, planned or controlled.

The Rosie Project is a charming and humorous story about friendship, self-discovery and the surprising ways in which love can enter our lives.
